Community Demonstration

A Brief Overview

The demonstration involved Emergency Service personnel from Lyndoch CFS, Region 2 Operations Branch, SA Ambulance (SAAS) and SA Police (SAPOL).

The incident involved a simulated car accident with an entrapment, requiring the individual to be cut from the vehicle using the “Jaws of Life”, a second vehicle involved in the accident was on fire as crews arrived.

There was plenty of opportunity for people to take photos and after the demonstration look over the appliances and other emergency vehicles as well as talk to the members of the local emergency services.

It was great to see a supportive group of individuals, especially the younger ones. While the weather turned a little damp no one seemed to mind
